Minnesota Supreme Court rules USA Powerlifting discriminated against transgender athlete, sends case back.

 

Isaiah 5:20-21 (NKJV) 20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!

 

It is of interest to me that on 10/22/25 the Supreme court of Minnesota ruled that it is discriminatory to NOT allow men who say they are women (transgender) to participate in women’s athletics. I have watched this progression of this ideological world view for a few years now and it never ceases to amaze me on the wrongness of this…

The argument that one is born in the wrong body, or wrong sex is to say that God in His infinite wisdom created someone contrary to His perfect creation. Why would He do this?

 

He wouldn’t… He can’t, He is perfect and holy and agape love. I can sympathize with those caught up in this trap and walk in deception, but as one who follows Jesus, I will choose to follow what scripture says and put the blame for this or these conditions where it belongs. The influence of the evil one upon a fallen mankind and its deception and lies foisted upon us. This is really at its core no different than adultery, sex before marriage, drunkenness, murder, lying etc. etc as Paul writes in

 

Galatians 5:19-21 (NKJV) 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

 

I wonder have we as a society fallen so far that we as Paul writes in Romans 1, now seek to worship the created… (us) than the creator (God)?

 

How is it that a society founded on Judeo Christians values… now embraces sin, deception and lies at the highest levels.

 

What wisdom are those who are supporters and proponents of these things using. I suspect it is the world’s wisdom which is not “common sense)”.

 

James 3:13-16 (NKJV) 13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

 

But it should not surprise the disciples of Jesus—it has all been predicted and we should not fear it or shy away from it. Nor should we embrace it as god ordained.

 

So how should the “church” respond to the deception and lies being perpetrated upon our society?

 

We should always be ready to speak the Truth in Agape love.. never condemning anyone for their actions or lifestyle..

 

Jesus did not come to condemn he world but to save it.. Sozo it.

John 3:17 (NKJV) 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

 

That word Sozo means Saved-- Sozo -- to save, deliver or protect, heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole.

 

We as followers of Jesus, need to stand in the gap and intercede for our society, our city, county, state and country.

 

I am reminded of the words of John Adams in a speech to the officers of the first brigade of the third division of the militia of Massachusetts, 11 October, 1798 … because we have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. (FROM TO THE OFFICERS OF THE FIRST BRIGADE OF THE THIRD DIVISION OF THE MILITIA OF MASSACHUSETTS, 11 October, 1798)

 

We now see the results of a society that has rejected the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has chosen to follow the deception and lies of the evil one. As I said earlier, to worship the created instead of the creator.. We do so at our own peril.

 

So again, I ask how should the church respond?, As Jesus church here on earth, His body? Paul writes we should do as God told Israel to do in 2nd Chronicles 7:14-15 (NKJV) 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.

 

This often-quoted command by God, is a promise given to His people. Well, who are His people? Those who have been born of His Spirit, adopted into His family. As His church, we should be on our knees, (literally or figuratively) seeking His face in forgiveness AND in repentance (turn from our wicked ways) for our nation. Please note He is not talking to unbelievers. He is talking to those whom He has called by His name.

 

Whose name? Jesus.

 

Whom has God called? Those who seek His face, repent of their sins and become followers of Jesus Christ… Born again, born from above, born of the water and the Spirit of God. Those whom understand what it means to be Jesus Disciples. To deny ourselves, pickup up our Cross and follow Him..

 

In this.. We need to get involved in the running of the government we have been placed in, Minnesota and the United States. It is a sin not to. We need to be involved in the voting process and in the governance of our local, state and federal government. In Minnesota those who are running the show are obviously not believers in Jesus. We should be praying for their salvation, which will change everything and also to actively oppose the deception and lies they are forcing upon our society. Evil stuff. We need to get off our high horses, get out and get informed and then go vote His (Gods) moral righteousness and principles. Period.

 

Jesus is coming back and the world is in for a tough time… we see the beginning of these “birth pains” now. But the “Church” can and should become a bride without spot or wrinkle washed in the Word of Jesus Christ, standing up for the moral and righteousness of God’s will.. Christian, get involved or keep bending the knee to our destruction…
